Space Matters
Reimagining the spaces we live, work, and create in.
I've always believed that our surroundings have a profound effect on how we feel and experience our lives.
About 25 years ago, during a time of significant change in my own life, I began studying Feng Shui, clearing out and organizing years of accumulated belongings, and taking a closer look at how my home reflected (or didn't reflect!) the life I wanted to be living.
The process was transformative and ultimately inspired me to create Space Matters, helping others reimagine their homes, offices, and creative spaces as environments that feel beautiful, functional, harmonious, and truly supportive of who they are — and who they're becoming.
My approach combines Feng Shui, decluttering, space clearing, professional organizing, intuitive design, and hands-on collaboration.
Making Room for What's Next
Over the years, I’ve worked closely with clients from New York and Los Angeles, often over many months, helping them reimagine and transform their spaces.
It was very hands-on work — sorting through belongings, rearranging furniture and art, experimenting with color, plants, and crystals, painting walls, creating altars and dream boards, performing space-clearing ceremonies, and sometimes even taking on small remodeling projects. We followed our intuition and figured out what felt right as we went.
Many clients were navigating major life transitions — divorce, the loss of a loved one, children leaving home, or simply wanting a fresh start. Others wanted more clarity, creativity, and inspiration in their homes, offices, or music studios.
Every project was different, and the process was always personal.
An Intuitive Approach
My background includes private Feng Shui training through the New York Open Center in the lineage of Master Lin Yun, professional organizing, and years of exploring how our environments influence our well-being.
I've also drawn inspiration from my travels around the world, studying different cultures, healing traditions, and ways of living.
Rather than following a particular design style, I've always loved helping people tune into their own intuition — discovering what feels right, what they're ready to let go of, and what they want to welcome into their lives.
It's amazing what can happen in our lives when we start making room for something new.
